Critical Fall Heights
We recommend the following depths of chippings to help offer protection against falls from height:
- Up to 1 metre fall height = 50mm depth (20kg/m2)
- Up to 1.5 metres fall height = 75mm depth (30kg/m2)
- Up to 3 metres fall height = 100mm depth (40kg/m2)
Installation Guide:
Installation is easy! Terraflex chippings can be applied directly onto most solid surfaces. Simply rake out existing surface removing any large pieces of existing material. Add your chippings and level them with a rake. We recommend using a membrane underlay sheet beneath the chippings and a border to keep them contained within the play area.
